IPHT-V individual pellet hardness tester

TITEN IPHT- V individual pellet hardness tester is generally applied in carbon black, rubber, tires, coatings, cement, chemical fertilizers, food, pharmaceuticals industry, the pellet hardness plays an important role for transportation, storage and the quality of subsequent products.

Individual pellet hardness tester testing principle

Individual pellet hardness tester is a high precision test instrument used to test diameter and maximium crushing force of individual pellet, ensuring quality control in production process and product development. For example of carbon black testing, testing process strictly follows standard ASTM D5230 and D3313.

In the testing process, sample rod automatically takes pellet, first to judge the size, it need to retake while size of pellet is too large or too small, pellet with moderate size will crush under the force of pressure rod, the crush force through sensors import to the computer. There are two methods to judge pellet crush or not: the maximium crush force   decrease 3g or pellet size decrease to 1/10.
