Automatic Viscometer-ST

Viscometer- ST is a professional instrument designed for product formula research, quality and processing control, as well as rheological properties analysis and testing in food industry. The test materials rotates in sample chamber with accuracy temperature control program, the probe in the top measures   viscosity corresponding to torque generated by the material during rotation, choosing multiple function probes can simultaneously   measure the true temperature of material, and directly cool them to archieve higher temperature control accuracy. The instrument automatically tests after experiment program is set by software, real time record the change for temperature and viscosity, relevent testing results are calculated base ong the set algorithm.

*Gelatinization and gel properties research of various raw starches (such as wheat, corn, potato, rice) and various modified starches.

Viscometer working principle

*Viscometer testing system includes sample chamber with needle and sample inside such as starch/water suspension. The testing probe with needle inserted into sample chamber, and sample chamber rotates, the stirring needle can mix the sample and prevent it from forming precipitate.

*Testing probe is deflected by prevention of viscosity generated by sample rotated in the chamber, this deflection is precisionly measured by torque sensor and record as a form of torque in the software.

*Electric heating furnace and cooling waterway wrap around sample chamber, using temperature controller for heating and cooling, and using software for temperature control program.

Viscometer-ST function features

*Built in heating furnace (including cooling waterway), more convenient and safe. The intelligent temperature control system can strictly follow temperature program designed by user, precisionly control the actual temperature of material in the sample chamber. Using Germany HBM torque measurement system, precise electric rotation speed control, torque evaluate units for option.

*The integrated design includes a computer and touch screen, making the instrument more cmpact and reasonable. The software functions are more intuitive and easy for management, it can communicated remotely and be compatible with various laboratory instrument management system.

*After setting experiment program, the   software automatically test and record the changes for temperature and viscosity in real time,   base on algorithm to calculate relevant testing results, including: geletinization point, peak point, constant temperature section, cooling section, break down value, setback value.

*   Viscometer - ST provides standard sample chamber and testing probe for various products/appliction testing program, satisfying global consistent standardized testing requirements of users.For examlpe, starched geletinization and viscosity standard test, viscometerST provides standard multi probes and specialized sample chamber.

*   RST/RVT is a micro/rapid viscometer that can quickly heat or cool the sample or maintain a constant sample temperature. It only requires about 3-10g of sample to achieve highly repeatable viscosity tests, making it suitable for the research and development of small sample formulas or rapid testing and other needs.
